The first Muse gadget built for fun spending: the public skills catalog listed 43 device skills on 2026-10-13, and none of them keeps a budget. Boards and pairing
What Chipo is not.
Not a bank.
No accounts, no balances, no interest. Your ETH stays in your wallet until you send a payment yourself.
Not custody.
Keys never leave your wallet and the site holds no funds. The Chipo token reads and writes your own records, nothing else.
Not advice.
Chipo's lines are arithmetic on your own budget and a public gift card catalog. They are not financial, tax or investment advice.
You open a budget spreadsheet once and forget it. Chipo stands on your desk and dances when your week goes well, so you keep looking.
Where Muse comes in.
Muse, Meta's personal AI agent, launched in the US for adults 18 and over. It runs in its own VM, with a free tier and paid tiers.
Muse Gadgets went open source: an ESP32 firmware and a Linux SDK under Apache 2.0, at github.com/facebookincubator/muse-gadget-sdk.
A gadget pairs in the Muse app under Settings > Devices > Developer mode, with an SDK token from gadgets.muse.ai.
Community device skills are Markdown files Muse reads to operate a device. The Chipo API takes the same token the pocket mints, so Muse can read the budget and log a purchase.
